Hiab’s Regular Application & Product Management division is looking for a Global Product Manager Services Offering development & sustainability, that is located in Helsinki.
In this role you will be accountable for the development of Hiab Services offering development with a focus on our spare parts assortment. You will need to drive capture rate growth in key parts categories by developing and maintaining relevant parts offering. You will also be responsible to create and implement initiatives to ensure Hiab meets sustainability targets in line with the Services strategy.
As a Global Product Manager Services Offering development & sustainability, you will need to have strong communication skills as you will need to have influence and negotiation skills as you will negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include Sales mgr, Pricing mgr, Product support mgrs, Supply chain & sourcing mgr, and others. External stakeholders will include Importers, end users, truck manufacturers, dealers. service partners, and others.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Run cross functional NPD projects in accordance with Hiab project execution model (assignment level & above)
- Work with Pricing on value based pricing, competitive analysis, price positioning and pricing model for relevant NPDs
- Training on sales and value proposition and offering with FLU network
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Services offering development, create and maintain fact-based analyses and present business cases for the new opportunities.
- Conduct competitor and market analyses; help to develop product positioning and messages; support the development and delivery of product collateral, sales tools, and training.
- Ownership of Services sustainability TTIs and impact estimates
- Link initiatives to Services sustainability roadmap
- Coordinate NPD and sustainability roadmap for services
What you’ll need to succeed
- Typically university (degree) level (technical and/or business)
- Knowledge and experience: >10 years
- Multiple years experience in on road load handling systems (or similar heavy equipments)
- Project management experience
- Delivering NPDs to market
- Experience in a multinational working environment, working in customer interface, and in handling product and product business in different life cycle stages
- Hands-on commercial experience
- Expert/Mastering, has in depth knowledge and skills covering all aspects in the area of expertise/responsibility. Is considered a role model and expert in the area of expertise/responsibility, works typically on a tactical level. Coaches/mentors others
- Business and commercial acumen with strong customer skills
- Sufficient technical understanding of product & application
- Strong communication skills and influencing capability
- Cross functional collaboration skills
- Presentation, oral & written skills
- Passionate about driving performance improvements, and customer focused.
- Innovative (Contribute to new product development and find commercial and technical solutions to the product(s) managed)
