SOFTWARE DESIGNER (E-LEARNING DEVELOPER)

Description
As an instructional e-learning developer you will support the design, development, delivery and deployment of relevant, high-quality e-learning assets and experiences. You will create instructional digital content that supports the goals and work programme of our e-learning platform focusing on quantum physics and quantum technology outreach.
Who we are looking for
You are a professional instructional designer who has demonstrated the ability to produce interactive and engaging online training (digital) content focused on science and technology, ideally in the deep tech/quantum physics and/or quantum technology/computing sectors. You will work with our team, collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and training managers to determine training needs and design solutions. You will be expected to create, manage, and support evaluation of the digital setup and functionality of training courses within the scope of the role.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop engaging, innovative, and effective e-learning training courses that:
- are completed in accordance with project plans
- are grammatically correct (English language)
- are consistent with approved graphics and style guidelines
- meet customer expectations
- contain knowledge checkpoints/assessments, and interactive virtual experiences
- are user-friendly while adhering to the best SEO practices.
Create, whenever necessary, tailored-made graphics, choose photos and other materials keeping an eye on the copyright and crediting, acquiring necessary permissions prior to publication, ensuring total copyright compliance.
Work effectively in a cross functional environment and align with standard operating procedure.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with e-learning and digital content management systems and platforms: Articulate Storyline / Rise preferred
- A minimum of one year as an instructional designer producing online and instructor lead training materials
- Fluency in English language
- Good verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills with ability to successfully deliver and communicate complex technical training concepts
- Ability to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment with strategic agility.
Bonus
- Understanding or background of physics and quantum technology would be a big advantage
- Good knowledge of graphic design software, including Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of website building (HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Php), incl. WordPress, and SEO desirable.
