As Financial Analyst - Acquisitions & Alliances you'll take on a pivotal position, conducting in-depth financial analysis and valuations for various transactions, including acquisitions, B2B loan packages, and strategic partnerships with our business units. Your keen eye for detail and motivation will be critical as you proactively seek out potential target companies.
Your Focus
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of potential acquisitions, B2B loan opportunities, and strategic partnerships. Assess financial viability and risks by analysing statements, historical data, and market trends.
- Valuation: Prepare comprehensive valuations using various methods, such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. Present investment recommendations and negotiation strategies.
- Research and Due Diligence: Collaborate with teams and perform due diligence on targets and partnerships, backed by thorough industry research.
- Financial Modelling: Develop complex financial excel models to evaluate the impact of scenarios on acquisitions, loans, and partnerships.
- Presentation and Reporting: Communicate findings, recommendations, and results through high-quality presentations.
- Relationship Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, investment banks, and industry experts to gather relevant insights and market intelligence.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market developments through proactive research and analysis.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or CFA is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in financial services, investment banking, or corporate finance.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex financial data, interpret trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. Proficient in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Industry Knowledge: Passion for finance, fintech, and staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- language Skills: Working proficiency in English required. Knowledge of other European languages in our operational areas is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and precision in financial analysis and reporting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with databases, valuation sources, and AI tools is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to present complex financial information. Comfortable collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
- Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
