Job Summary
You will focus on creating process cost simulations and providing should cost calculation support to purchasing and engineering departments. In this role you have a chance to work with manufacturing concepts in different commodities, develop own core manufacturing know-how, participate in technical aspects as well as commercial negotiations and develop cost engineering systems and tools. We enable you also to utilize and develop AI applications. The role offers you an opportunity to get into the world of cost engineering and see the agriculture business from engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and finance point of views.
Job Responsibilities
- Create saving opportunities by bringing new manufacturing concept ideas to supply-chain
- Detailed process cost calculation and cost engineering support
- Global lead role in the responsible commodity cost engineering projects
- Provide active purchasing negotiation support
- Global responsibility for the cost reduction programs
- Develop the internal knowledge and expertise on manufacturing technologies under commodity responsibility
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent
- Good manufacturing process knowledge in the agricultural machinery industry field such as castings, forgings, machining, metal fab, plastics, etc. is a plus.
- You are data driven and detail-oriented with strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
- You have a good level of English (you will be part of an international team)
- Travel required based on projects (10 to 20% of your time)
