Essential duties:

    • Solving high importance and business value use-cases using AWS services
    • Mastering CI/CD pipelines, automation, and config management frameworks
    • Implementing and guiding IaC for complex, cross-team projects
    • Effectively design and implements patterns of AWS stacks to be used by different teams
    • Designing holistic solutions that are automated and consistent across DISQO
    • Acting as an organizing force for the direction of DISQOTECH’s deliverables
    • Creating and establishing standards that encourage SRE engineering excellence
    • Taking charge as incident commander for complex incidents
    • Evangelize the SRE’s mission to encourage DevOps ownership
    • Troubleshooting and complete RCA on highly complex, long-running issues in distributed systems that involve a high degree of ambiguity
    • Supporting and mentors less experienced SRE engineers.

Required skills/qualifications:

    • At least 3+ years of experience as SRE, DevOps or equivalent engineering roles
    • At least 3+ years of production experience with AWS ( EKS, RDS, Lambdas… etc )
    • Automation first mindset and orientation
    • Ability to troubleshoot complicated distributed systems problems
    • Expert level knowledge in microservices and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts)
    • Expert in Linux architecture and networking
    • Hands-on experience in Terraform or other IaaC tools
    • Willing to make critical cross-team decisions by driving consensus between the teams
    • Continuously improves our IaC process and code architecture
    • Knowledge of modern GitOps tooling will be great asset ( e.g. ArgoCD ).
